The history of Skican...
In 1969, a group of young engineers from Montreal, Canada decided there was a future in providing affordable ski holidays to Western Canada. Their idea was to operate a series of charter flights to Banff and Lake Louise, from a collection of skiers from local ski areas. The first winter consisted of 6 weekly flights, with over 400 skiers. Thus was the beginning of Skican, now the largest and oldest ski tour operator in Canada and one of the largest in North America.

What can we offer...
The 2011/12 season represents our 43rd year of providing quality ski holidays to the world's finest ski destinations. Skican has grown and prospered over the years by providing quality and value in our ski holiday packages as well as outstanding customer service to our clients. In the early years, all our business was concentrated on ski groups and clubs, and 40 years later this still remains an area we specialize in.
As a ski group planner, at Skican you will deal directly with skiers and experienced travel professionals who have researched all aspects of the products, and can give you first hand direction, advice and feedback about the resorts, both on and off the mountain. We can direct you to the area that best suits the demographics and desires of your group.
In Canada, we offer a choice of all major ski resorts in Western Canada (British Columbia & Alberta) and Quebec. In the US West we represent a variety of the major resorts. In Europe we offer many resorts in Austria, Switzerland, Italy and France. Our dedicated staff will package the best trip possible for your group to whatever destination you choose.
