Congratulations on selecting Banff as your Skican vacation destination! Although Banff is best known for its terrific skiing/riding, the area offers plenty of additional activities for you to enjoy during your stay.
This sightseeing pass opens up the mountains for non-skiing guests who want to experience the incredible scenery at Mt Norquay, the Lake Louise Ski Resort, and Sunshine Village. These tickets provide transportation to and from the resorts, round trips on the chairs and/or gondola at the resorts, as well as a $12 food voucher, so all you have to worry about is having fun.
Mt. Norquay and Lake Louise Ski Resort offer a fast-paced, fun-filled adrenaline rush with their snow tube parks.
For those wanting to venture beyond the pistes, snowshoeing can be a great way to get off the beaten path. Lake Louise Ski Resort and Sunshine Village even offer a guided service with catering options available. Mt. Norquay offers unguided snowshoeing along three marked trails that take between 1hr - 2.5hrs each.
Mt. Norquay is the only ski resort in Banff National Park to offer night skiing. Guests can enjoy lapping the Cascade chair to access three runs and the extensive terrain park on Friday and Saturday nights between December and April. Night tubing is also available.
Banff offers a plethora of cross-country ski trails, meaning you will be spoiled for choice with trails designed to accommodate any skill level from beginner to Olympian.
Enjoy the scenery of the Canadian Rockies in a truly unique fashion. Sit back and relax, or if you're feeling more adventurous, take a turn driving your own team of dogs.
