Park City Activities Guide

Congratulations on selecting Park City as your Skican vacation destination!  Although Park City is best known for its terrific skiing/riding, the area offers plenty of additional activities for you to enjoy during your stay.

Terrain Park

Park City Resort and the Canyons have four terrain parks that serve a wide range of ability levels.

Cross Country Skiing

Park City offers 18km of groomed cross country ski trails that vary in difficulty from beginner to expert. If you are feeling a little more adventurous, you can hire a guide to take you on a custom tour.

Snowmobiling

Let one of the many snowmobile touring companies take you for an exciting ride on trails and terrain that are otherwise inaccessible.

Snowshoeing

Park city has 100km of snowshoe trails, many of which are groomed by the Mountain Trails Foundation. Private guides and rentals are available at several locations in town.

Snow Tubing

Snow tubing is a great activity for whole family. The trails are lit and lift accessible, so you can enjoy the ride down without all the hard work of climbing back up.

Utah Olympic Park

Utah Olympic Park was the venue for nordic skiing, ski jumping, bobsled, and luge in the 2002 Olympics.  Free tours run daily starting in December, and if you're feeling brave, you can also go for a ride in a bobsled.

Museum

The Alf Engen Ski Museum Foundation includes interactive exhibits that depict the history of skiing in the West. It also features a virtual reality ski theater and a 2002 Olympic Winter Games exhibit.
