On select nights from mid-December to mid-March, you can ski at the largest night skiing area in Western Canada. Night skiing is included in all multi-day passes (when available & weather permitting).
With 25km (15.5 miles) of Nordic trails, there is plenty of room to explore. Whether you're a novice or an experienced Nordic skier, Big White has trails to challenge you.
Come and explore the region on the newest sport to hit the hills. Ride the various Nordic trails on a K-trak Ski-Mountain-Bike. Full instruction is included in the tour, and all ages are welcome as long as individuals are above 5ft in height.
Tours depart daily from the top of the gondola in the village centre, but reservations are required 24 hours in advance. Swing by the activities desk to inquire about this exciting activity.
Snow Limos are a great way for non-skiers and non-snowboarders to explore the mountain! Your personal chauffeur will guide you around the mountain in a sled, giving you the opportunity to take in the magnificent scenery.
Perhaps the best part about Snow Limos is that it allows non-skiers to follow their loved ones around the Mountain. Please inquire at the ski school desk for more information, or to make a reservation.
Check out Big White’s 60 foot ice tower! The four-sided structure has a beginner side, as well as three other sides with more advanced terrain. The wall is located in the Happy Valley Adventure Park, and all climbs are supervised by an American Mountain Guides Association certified guide.
Snowmobiling is an exhilarating way to enjoy Big White’s stunning BC backcountry. A variety of daily Canadian snowmobiling tours take place on trails catered to all skill levels, from family cruising to advanced powder riding. Drive your own snowmobile or double up with a friend, and see Big White in a new and exciting way.
Mini-Z miniature snowmobiles are great fun for the kids. Kids get to experience the thrill of mini snowmobiling on a track built specially for them! This gives children an opportunity to try out kids snowmobiling in a safe environment.
Feel the wind in your face as you zoom down our thrilling tube park. The Big White Tube Park has 5 specially-groomed lanes that allow thrill seekers to enjoy a high-speed ride down the slopes, even after the lifts close.
Take a step back in time with a ride on an old-fashioned horse drawn sleigh in the winter wonderland of Big White. Cozy up under a blanket and enjoy hot chocolate while gliding through snow covered forest trails during your sleigh ride, a fantastic experience with the horses.
Open your eyes to the wonders of Big White's pristine backcountry on this fun-filled tour, complete with a friendly team of sled dogs. Dog sledding tours are a great way to get out on an exciting adventure while enjoying the breathtaking scenery Big White has to offer.
Canada's highest elevated outdoor ice rink is perfect for a leisurely glide on the ice or a quick game of pick up hockey. Skate rentals are available from Happy Valley Day Lodge.
