Located in the heart of the Selkirk Mountains, Revelstoke Mountain Resort is the ultimate ski destination for experienced and adventurous skiers. Groomers, glades, bowls, and backcountry skiing come together in one exception mountain playground — plus the region is blanketed by over 50 feet of snow annually.
Despite its recent emergence on the scene, the area around Revelstoke, B.C. has been known in skiing circles as a top destination for cat-skiing and heli-skiing for decades. Skiers from around the world have flocked to Revelstoke, attracted by its perfect powder, varied alpine terrain, and quaint mountain community.
Until recently the town was relatively undeveloped and solely accessible via the backcountry. All of that changed in 2007 when Revelstoke made the biggest North American ski resort debut in the past two decades.
Since its grand opening, Revelstoke has offered the most vertical of any ski resort in North America at 5620 ft (1713 m). The resort currently offers over 3,121 acres of skiable terrain across 4 high alpine bowls, legendary glades, and phenomenal groomers. The area is still under development — when completed, it will cover over 10,000 acres, placing it above Whistler to claim the crown of the largest ski resort in North America.

Selkirk Tangiers Heli-Skiing
There is no better place to go heli-skiing than in Revelstoke, the heli-skiing capital of the world. Massive annual snowfall has lured skiers and snowboarders from around the world. With over 40 years of experience, Selkirk Tangiers is a key part of the history of Revelstoke and they know these mountains better than anyone.

Great Northern Snowcat Skiing

Backcountry Touring
Revelstoke Backcountry Guides' team of ACMG and IFMGA Certified Guides provides backcountry tours and courses that take small groups of up to 6 skiers into the incredible terrain surrounding the Revelstoke area.
Each backcountry package will be custom-built based on the snow conditions and group experience level, providing custom guiding and instruction packages to participants.
Snowmobile Tours
Take a 2-hour or full day tour to explore the sensational powder of the Columbia Mountains. Includes quality snowmobiles, guides, and all the gear required for a great winter experience. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, there's a tour suited for you.
Snowshoe Tours
Join us on daily guided tours through beautiful, groomed trails in the sub-alpine forests of the Selkirk Mountains. Along the way, our knowledgeable guides can teach you about local plant and animal species, wildlife tracking, local history, and winter survival.
Cross-Country Skiing
The Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club maintains a system of Cross Country Ski Trails on Mount Macpherson, 7 km south of the town of Revelstoke. The Revelstoke area is famous for its huge amount of natural snowfall, and the easterly aspects of the slopes help keep the snow conditions fantastic. Approximately 26 km of trails are groomed for both skating and classic technique.
Paragliding
Take a tandem Paragliding flight at Revelstoke, and get an eagle eye view of Canada’s highest vertical, spectacular mountains and the beautiful Columbia River.
Turtle Creek Tube Park
Turtle Creek Tube Park features great fun for the whole family. The Tube Park offers endless adventure well into the evening so you can experience this activity without sacrificing any time on the slopes.
Kids ROC
Revelstoke’s newest addition, Kids ROC offers evening activities for ages 6 and up. Kids ROC features fun play structures including a foam pit, mini-climbing wall, a giant TV, as well as cubbies, tables, and washrooms – all kid-sized.
Dog Sledding
Dog Sledding Tours are available to explore the stunning Revelstoke area. A beautiful team of Alaskan Racing Huskies will lead you through the snowy trails while and experienced guide will provide you with insight into the local ecology and history of the region.
