Zermatt is a picturesque mountain village that lies at the foot of the majestic Matterhorn on the border of Switzerland and Italy. Considered one of Switzerland's most popular winter resorts, Zermatt encompasses three skiing areas, which enjoy superb snow conditions and the longest skiing season in the Alps.
This world-famous destination offers visitors an never-ending range of activities to choose from. Aside from skiing, which is available 365 days a year on the Theodul Glacier, Zermatt is a popular destination for hiking and mountaineering in the off-season.
The charming village of Zermatt includes a range of cultural attractions, including the Matterhorn Museum and its historic Old Village. And if you ever run out of things to do, you can also go across the border! From the top of the Klein Matterhorn, serviced by Europe's highest cable car, you can ski down into Italy for lunch and return in time for dinner.
Skican regularly features specialty Ski Packages and Hosted Ski Escapes, however, we don't have any to show you right now. Make sure you check back soon - these unique, high demand ski vacations are released throughout the season and have limited availability.
