I have no idea where to ski. How do I choose the right resort?
Skican has organized thousands of vacations for independent travelers and groups. We will find your ski destination match. We will need an understanding of ski level(s), interest(s), budget, group size, schedule etc. You will be inspired and be packing your bags. If this is your first time considering a ski vacation that involves a plane, welcome! We will suit you up with all the knowledge you need to get you to the mountain without a hitch and no butterflies.
Do most resorts offer child care?
Yes. Many resorts also offer ski camps and lesson programs that may suit your family’s needs. Ask our agents for more information.
My travel partner does not ski. He/she would be interested in trying it for a day but what could the rest of the trip look like?
Every resort offers rental and lesson packages for beginners. Also, all of Skican’s resort partners offer fantastic amenities and adventures off the ski hill. From caving to shopping to hiking to snowshoeing and dogsledding – adventures abound for the non-skier or those who don’t wish to ski all day every day. We can help find the right resort and vacation package to accommodate the needs of each traveler in your group.
Does Skican only offer 5 or 7-day packages?
No, we can build a package to meet your unique vacation needs. Packages typically include lodging, lift passes, airport transfers, or rental car. We can book air with any carrier, no problem. I don't see the resort I wish to visit in your list of offerings?
It is very possible that we can get you to the mountain of your choosing at the lodge of your choice. We often have resorts in our back pocket, just not listed online.
