Ski Escape: Chamonix, France

From March 7 to 15, 2026. Chamonix is where modern mountaineering began—an alpine town with serious ski terrain, incredible scenery, and a down-to-earth vibe that’s easy to love. Ski one day in Courmayeur, Italy mid week. AIR INCLUDED. Limited Availability.

This trip is available from
March 7 to 15, 2026.

Join us this winter for an unforgettable ski trip to Chamonix, the legendary mountain town that has drawn skiers, mountaineers, and alpine lovers for over a century. It is located in the French Alps, specifically in the Haute-Savoie region of southeastern France, and sits at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe (4,808 metres / 15,774 feet).

With your lift pass, you'll ski five unique areas—Brévent-Flégère, Grands Montets, Les Houches, Le Tour, and Courmayeur in Italy. Terrain ranges from open bowls and playful glades to steeper, more technical runs with views straight across to Mont Blanc. Chamonix has a big-mountain feel, with long descents and plenty of off-piste for those looking to explore beyond the groomers with a certified guide. While the resort isn’t ski-in/ski-out, the free and efficient shuttle makes it easy to access a new area every day.

A must-do is the Aiguille du Midi cable car, which carries you to 3,842 metres for one of the most jaw-dropping views in the Alps. From there, confident skiers can tackle the legendary Vallée Blanche, a 20+ km off-piste glacier descent winding through towering icefields. This experience requires a certified guide, not only for safety, but to help you navigate the best and safest lines.

We’ll also spend a day skiing in Courmayeur, just across the border in Italy. The quick drive through the Mont Blanc Tunnel brings a change of pace and scenery—sun-drenched runs, laid-back terrain, and a long Italian lunch that might just be the highlight of your week.

But Chamonix is not just about the skiing—it’s the mix of serious mountains, international energy, and a town that lives and breathes the outdoors that makes it a must-see and do. The town is vibrant and walkable, with a pedestrian core full of character. Boutique shops, espresso bars, sunny patios, and lively pubs give it a distinctly international yet alpine feel.

The food is every bit as memorable as the skiing. This trip includes breakfast and dinner (breakfast daily at the hotel, and three local restuarant dinner experiences). From hearty Savoyard classics like tartiflette and raclette to refined French bistros, sushi counters, Thai kitchens, and elegant Italian trattorias, there’s something for every appetite. Chamonix delivers with flavour, quality, and charm, set against a beautiful mountain backdrop.

This trip is perfect for intermediate skiers and boarders who want big mountain days and a town full of energy by night. This isn’t just a ski trip. It’s Chamonix.
