This trip runs from March 7 to 14, 2026.
Imagine a ski week where everything's taken care of: ski-in/ski-out lodging, lift tickets, a welcoming group of like-minded skiers and boarders, and a Skican host to show you the ropes. That's the Fernie Ski Escape - designed for winter enthusiasts who want maximum mountain time with minimum hassle.
The Mountain: Located on BC's famous Powder Highway, Fernie Alpine Resort gets 9 metres of annual snowfall and spreads it across 2,500 acres of varied terrain. From mellow groomers to deep powder bowls and endless tree runs, there's something for every skier - and virtually no lift lines to slow you down.
The Scene: You'll stay ski-in/ski-out at Lizard Creek Lodge, where après happens naturally around the outdoor hot tubs and mountain-view bar. Mix up your evenings between on-mountain dining and exploring historic downtown Fernie - a 10-minute shuttle to craft breweries, local restaurants, and that authentic ski-town vibe.
Perfect For: Solo travellers looking to meet fellow skiers, friends wanting a stress-free getaway, or anyone seeking excellent value on a quality ski week.
Meet Your Host: Shannon Beattie, our Director of Operations, lives for these trips. She'll organize group skiing and meals, share insider tips on Fernie's best stashes, and make sure everyone feels connected - whether you're travelling solo or with a buddy.
