This winter, trade the usual routine for a week of mountain adventure across two of British Columbia’s most welcoming ski resorts.
We’ll start the week at SilverStar, a mountain that feels like home for so many skiers. It’s known for its friendly vibe, reliable snow, and perfectly groomed runs that invite you to relax and enjoy your time on the hill. SilverStar’s approachable size and charming village make it easy to feel connected to the mountain and the community.
Midweek, we head to Sun Peaks, a resort featuring three distinct mountains. What sets Sun Peaks apart is its variety and scale — enough to keep every level challenged and engaged, but without the overwhelm of a massive resort. The European-style village adds a unique character, making it a great place to unwind and connect with others.
Things to Try While You’re at SilverStar:
• Explore Putnam Creek — The mountain’s backside offers more challenging terrain and is home to Paradise Lodge, a perfect spot for a break.
• Try the "Attrition" run — A steep black diamond that’s popular with advanced skiers.
• Grab a morning treat at Bugaboos Bakery Café — A local favourite serving fresh pastries, strong coffee, and incredible mountain views.
And at Sun Peaks:
• Ski "Static Cling" — A standout gladed run on Mt. Tod, perfect for those who enjoy tree skiing with a backcountry feel.
• Stop by Cahilty Creek Kitchen & Taproom — A great après spot in the village known for local beers, hearty food, and a relaxed atmosphere.
• Enjoy the Fondue & Torchlight Descent — Included in this trip, it’s a cozy mountain meal at sunset followed by a ski down by headlamp in a magical torchlight glow.
