On Day 1 arrive at your home away from home, The Prestige Mountain Hotel in the Town of Rossland under 10 minutes from the ski resort. A centrally located hotel and local hangout within walking distance of all the funky things a mining town could ask for - The Rossland Brewing Company, coffee shops, fine dining/low dining, a great women's shop, terrific grocer, and entertainment. The list goes on.

This place is for skiing purists and for people looking for something pretty and unique. It is located in the beautiful Monashee Mountain range and offers 3850 acres of pristine skiing unfettered by overdevelopment. There are numerous peaks with 360-degree descents. This allows for mixed-skill groups to ride the lift together and pick a line that suits them. Back this year are pay-as-you-go cat skiing on Mt. Kirkup (schedule tbd). While skiing at RED learn about its unique history, look for secret forest cabins, visit Paradise Camp for a coffee or snack, and lose track of the number of laps you log.

On Day 2, March 1st, enjoy a hosted après at Rafters at the base of the mountain. Famous for its old-school vibe, chat about the day and look at the characters on the wall in the 'Old Bastard' section. Stay 4 nights and ski for 3 days in this charming Powder Highway mountain area (there will be time to fit in a half day at RED - best suited for Ikon Pass holders).

On day 4 head to Schweitzer, Idaho, USA with your newfound ski friends. You will be welcomed at the Idaho Baked Potato! Reception by the Schweitzer community and learn more about this Ikon Resort. With 2900 acres of terrain and an average of 300" of annual snowfall, Schweitzer skis big yet you'll feel right at home on the uncrowded slopes, high-angle groomers, and endless gladed tree runs. Sleep each night at the intimate ski-in/ski-out base at the Selkirk Lodge. Experience "The Schweitzer Difference" - the unique culture with an infectious zest for life.
